Price & Sons Expands through Yenalo Pots acquisition

In April of this year, Price & Sons acquired Yenalo Pots, a local manufacturing business that specialises in creating outdoor cement pots.

Yenalo Pots has been operating in the Western Cape for the past 16 years and has a rich family history, most recently managed by Richard Almendro. The business supplies outdoor pots to major garden centres, local nurseries and landscapers.

We are excited about this merger as it broadens our product range, allowing us to offer large-format outdoor cement pots to our customers. Most importantly, we are proud to become a South African manufacturer, providing several unique opportunities, including the chance to design and produce custom items for our clients. Local manufacturing helps us mitigate currency fluctuations and shorten shipping times, which was a key factor in our decision to acquire Yenalo Pots.

With this acquisition, we have welcomed new team members who possess extensive experience in crafting our beautiful pots. We have relied heavily on their expertise throughout the transition period.
